GLADIATOR’S HANDBOOK
Overview
As a gladiator, your task is to grow stronger, obtain better equipment, and make a name for yourself in the arenas.
Typical loop: prepare in the Stock → fight in the Arena or in Missions → collect rewards → upgrade your gear and training.
Basics
You begin as an inexperienced fighter. In the Stock you get to know your gladiator, equip weapons and armor, train, and prepare for battle.
Once you are ready, you enter the Arena or start Missions. There you do not just wait for fights – you actively earn gold, loot, and experience with every run.
Attributes & Combat Stats
Your gladiator has two important combat stats that decide between victory and defeat:
🗡️ STRENGTH: Damage output – primarily from weapons.
🛡️ DEFENSE: Damage reduction – primarily from armors.
The better your gear and the higher your training rank, the more dangerous you become. Keep an eye on armor durability; worn-out armor protects less.
Training & Ranks
In the Stock you can train your gladiator. Each training tier boosts all your stats:
Tier 1 (x1): Your starting tier. You are just learning how life in the arena works.
Tier 2 (x2): You have trained hard. Your strength and defense noticeably increase. This tier costs 60,000 gold.
Tier 3 (x3): A seasoned veteran. Your values are boosted even further. This tier costs 320,000 gold.
Equipment & Repair
In the Stock you decide which weapons and armors your gladiator carries. Strong weapons increase your damage, solid armor keeps you alive longer.
Over time, your items wear down. Use the repair options to fix all armors or all weapons at once. Some special items, like the Platinum Guardian, offer additional protection.
Currencies & Rewards
Silver: Earned frequently, for example from crates or fights. Good for many smaller expenses and improvements.
Gold: More valuable and rarer than silver. Used for training your gladiator and special purchases.
Platinum: A rare resource, mainly relevant for special armors and their upgrades.
Arena
In the arena you encounter enemies, break crates, and collect loot along the way. Your training, equipment, and reactions decide how long you survive.
Your name and title are visible to others. You can adjust graphics, sound, and object visibility to your liking.
Missions & Quests
Missions give you clear goals, for example to defeat a certain number of enemies or open a number of crates. If you succeed in time, you receive fixed rewards.
On top of that, there are quests where your progress is tracked automatically, such as how many minutes you have spent in the arena.
Events & Premium
From time to time special events are active that may grant double loot or more experience.
With a premium status you can gain additional benefits, for example special effects for your name or more comfort while playing.
Market & Items
At the market you can buy different dusts that temporarily strengthen your weapon. Ice Dust grants a strong damage bonus for a limited time.
Ruby Dust offers a strong effect but costs more gold. Choose carefully when to use it, as it can turn a fight in your favor.
Dusts are applied to your active weapon while in the arena and are consumed on use. Save them for important moments.
Beyond dusts, you will find other items: special armors (e.g., platinum), shields, and weapons with unique properties.
You can also acquire special abilities. They grant temporary advantages and enable new playstyles.
Crafting
Crafting lets you create your own items. Combine materials to obtain weapons, armors, or shields tailored to your needs.
Crafted items can receive an additional bonus – for example more strength, better defense, or special effects. Experiment with recipes to get the most out of crafting.
What can you craft? Mainly weapons, armors, and shields. Rare materials often lead to the strongest results.
Leagues & World Map
As you grow stronger, you rise into higher leagues. Each league offers more challenging arenas and better rewards.
On the world map you choose which arena to fight in. Some travels between arenas require a small silver fee.
Titles
Over time you unlock different titles – for example by collecting a lot of gold, opening many crates, or defeating countless enemies. These titles show other players what you have already achieved.
Other Areas
At the Bank you keep track of your wealth and make financial decisions.
In the Editor you can design your own arenas and express your creativity.
The Catacombs are a separate gameplay area with unique challenges and rewards.
